From the deep woods of Elverum, a small city not far a way from Oslo and even closer to Lillehammer, comes young six-piece indie pop band Team Me.

It all started out as an accidental success when Marius Hagen and his private, little side project ended up in a Norwegian national radio-battle for new and unsigned bands. Marius quickly had to get a band together and Team Me made their live debut in January 2010 at the finals of the contest. Still surprised by the attention the band started doing live shows and releasing singles, which led into the Team Me EP that was released the winter of 2011 by Propeller Recordings to great reviews. The EP peaked at # 92 on the American CMJ top 200 with a base of solid airplay on different American radio stations. The band played shows at events such as The Great Escape, Club NME in London, Iceland Airwaves and Øyafestival and did several support tours for the The Wombats all across Europe including a sold out show at Hammersmith Apollo in London.

The bands full-length debut ‘To The Treetops!’ (March 2012, Propeller Recordings) has been critically acclaimed across the world, as well as being awarded a Norwegian Grammy for “Best Pop Album”.

With equal shades of light and dark, the album takes the listener on a journey throughout the band’s diverse influences – As grandiose as it is fragile and intimate, ‘To The Treetops!’ is an enchanting collection of rich, orchestrated pop songs.  The album received top critics from more than 10 different major newspapers in Norway. In late march 2012 NME included Team Me on their “10 best new bands at SXSW”-feature.

Team Me have proven to be one of Scandinavia’s most innovative and promising acts, with their live sets packed with energy. The 6 young members of the band plays play their multiple instruments with their hearts and standing on their toes.

Since their humble debut, Team Me have played more than 250 shows all across the world, and sold out shows in cities as Tokyo, London, Berlin, Paris, Reykjavik and many many more, including selling out Oslo´s Rockefeller with 1400 tickets sold. Team Me have also spent their last two summers playing festivals such as Dour, Latitude, Roskilde Festival and Haldern Pop.
